Woodland Market Update For March 2022

hey everybody this is reggie powell uh this is your monthly market update for woodland california for march 2022. so looking at the total homes on market for this month we got 27 houses out there compared to last month they're only 10. so there are a lot more homes on the market but it's still a very competitive market for buyers out there a number of homes sold this month we have 37 and in february we only had 34. average days on market this month is 17 days on market versus last month's 19. average price per square foot is still climbing up so for march it was 324 dollars per square foot versus last month's 316 dollars per square foot and then looking at the average sales price this month we had 612 thousand dollars versus february was only 562 000 so again the price per square foot is still climbing uh the average sale price is still climbing the days on markets getting shorter so houses are still selling quicker and quicker every single month and if we look at march 2021 uh back then there were 32 homes in the market versus this month's 27. 58 homes sold last year just because there were so many houses on the market versus only 37 this month days on market again went from 32 days last year to only 17 this year average price per square foot shot from 270 up to 324 and then the average sales price back then was 495 000 uh to this month 612 000. so again the the prices are going up uh the average days on market are going down average price per square foot shot up as well so it's still definitely a seller's market it's still very competitive out there and uh things are changing all the time as well the the interest rates rose up to five percent as well last week all right once again that's your uh monthly report for woodland california for march 2022 make sure you click subscribe if you like watching these videos and if you are looking to buy or sell a home in the future give me a call thanks for watching the video and have a good day
