Pancake recipe

This makes about 8 medium sized pancakes

Ingredients:

1.5 cups all purpose flour

1 Tablespoon sugar

3.5 teaspoons baking powder

.25 teaspoon salt

1.25 cups milk

3 Tablespoons melted butter

Method:

1 Whisk dry ingredients together

2 Add wet ingredients to dry and whisk until combined

3 Refrigerate for 30 minutes

4 Add small amount of butter to slightly heated cast iron skillet.

5 Add .25 cups of the pancake batter to the pan and cook on medium low heat until bubbles start to form that create holes on the top of the pancake

6 Once bubbles form, flip pancake and continue to cook on other side until done

7 The first pancake is always a bit of a tester. Adjust heat as needed and continue to cook the rest of the pancakes

8 Enjoy with your favorite toppings. Our kids love real maple syrup
