What just happened with real estate commissions?

Take a look at the infographic below. This is from NAR ( the National Association of Realtors). The main changes for consumers are: 1) To view a home, you need to have a signed buyer broker agreement outlining the services provided and the compensation you will be providing to your buyer agent, and 2) Compensation will no longer be advertised in the multiple listing service AND the compensation (as it always has been) is fully negotiable between buyers and their agent/s and sellers and their agent/s.
