The Sacramento Area Real Estate Market is Getting Hot Again!

For everyone that is expecting or waiting for a market crash, I have some bad news for you… it’s not going to happen. If you are currently trying to buy a home, you already know this firsthand. We are seeing homes going up on the market and receiving multiple offers within days of them even being listed for sale. The competition is fierce!

I am currently working with a few buyers looking to find a home. The last home we put an offer on was on the market for only 4 days. Within those 4 days of being on the market, the sellers received 12 offers. And this is happening with many homes all over the Sacramento area. If you are considering buying a home, my best advice is to not wait. We are in the very beginning of what is typically the busiest time of year. Spring is when the most people are out shopping for homes. The longer you wait, the more competition there will be. Inventory is not keeping up with demand. I expect demand to rise and inventory to have a hard time keeping up.

In order to make the deal happen, you need to work with an agent that can negotiate on your behalf and get you as much information as possible to make a strong, clean offer. It is not enough to submit an offer and pray. Your real estate agent needs to speak with the selling agent and find out where they are at on offers and price. Your agent and lender need to team up and contact the listing agent and build rapport. To be successful in real estate, you need a team working for you. It is the same in every industry and every aspect of life. Your team is what makes you successful.
