The chart and summary above is for Woodland. As you can see, there are more homes listed for sale now than there were in the summer, yet property sales have declined slightly. This is pretty typical this time of year. School just started back up and the holidays are fast approaching. The good news for buyers is that there are now more homes on the market.
One thing to note is that this chart lags the market. It takes past data and compiles it into a list for us to read easily. Also, interest rates have been fluctuating and are currently hovering around 6% on a 30 year term. This rate could be lower if you are buying on a 15 year term as well. If you would like to speak with a lender, let me know and I can give you a few local lenders to call.
I have also attached market summaries for Woodland, Davis, Winters, and Sacramento down below. If interested, please take a look to see what's going on in your town. Even if you have no plans of buying or selling, its still a good idea to stay informed on what's happening in real estate.
I am still looking to buy more investment properties. If you know of anyone thinking of selling, have them reach out to me and I'll give them a fair price for their home. I am a local investor and take pride in my community. I always take care of my properties and my tenants.
